Privacy Policy

Ponto doesn't collect, track or share any of your data. There's no account, no analytics, no advertising and no server of ours that your data is ever sent to.

What Ponto stores

Everything you enter in Ponto, including your schools, years, subjects, grades, tests, exam sittings, absences and timetable, is stored on your device. None of it is ever sent to us.

iCloud sync

If you're signed in to iCloud, Ponto keeps your data in sync across your devices using Apple's iCloud. Your data is stored in the private database of your own iCloud account, which only you can access. We can't see it. iCloud is provided and operated by Apple and is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

You can turn off iCloud for Ponto in your device's iCloud settings. Ponto keeps working, with your data stored only on that device.

Reminders

Reminders for upcoming tests and exam deadlines are scheduled by the app on your device. They aren't sent from a server, and you can turn them off in Ponto's settings or your device's notification settings.

Exports

When you export your grades, Ponto creates a CSV file on your device. It goes only where you choose to share or save it.

No tracking

Ponto contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or other third-party code, and it doesn't track you across apps or websites.

If you've turned on Share With App Developers in your device's Analytics & Improvements settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports and usage statistics with developers, including us. You control that setting, and Ponto has no part in it.

Children

Ponto is made for students of any age. Because it collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children.

Your rights

Because we don't hold any of your data, there's nothing for us to show you, hand over or delete on request. You already have all of it. You can delete your data in the app or by removing the app, and you can remove the synced copy from your iCloud storage settings.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
